Sandra Garcia
Sandra Garcia is the President and Principal Publicist for Middle Child Marketing Inc. A published poet in a former life, Sandra has always had a passion for language. She graduated from UBC in English Literature and Film Studies,where she discovered a passion for film and helped to create the first VancouverStudent Film Festival in 2005.  Shewas the Communications Coordinator for the UBC Class Act Graduating Fundraising Campaign in 2005, and went on to executethe first Communications strategy for the CiTR Radio Capital Campaign.

While honing her Marketing Communications expertise at BCIT, she worked for a Public Relations and Event Planning firm until 2007, which put on some of the top red carpet film events in the city. Sandra left the corporate world and started Middle Child Marketing in 2008, launching PR campaigns for clients in the art, beauty, entertainment, and apparel industries, and large scale events like the EAT! Vancouver Food and Cooking Festival in 2011.

Sandra began a lifestyle blog called Middle Child Reviews (www.middlechildreviews.com) in 2010, and was published in the 3rd edition of the CRAVE Vancouver Guide. She is currently a member ofthe Forum for Women Entrepreneurs BC Chapter, and on the Board of Directors forthe Vancouver Short Film Festival.

Sabrina Gawley
Sabrina draws from a diverse and prolific background in property management, business consulting and corporate coaching. Prior to her current role as Business Development Manager for WestPark, Sabrina was responsible for tenant relations for one of North America’s largest investors, owners and managers of commercial real estate. In her role she gained an in-depth understanding of managing assets with a client first focus. Sabrina evaluates new opportunities by analyzing business requirements and has a strong belief that business relationships should be mutually beneficial in nature.

Sabrina’s commitment to self-improvement remains very important as she strives to develop a more profound understanding of organizational goals and the study of diverse business functions. A University of British Columbia alumni, Sabrina is extremely active with several not-for-profit groups including University Women’s Club of Vancouver, Women In Leadership and The VSO. Sabrina’s professional affiliations include Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), NAIOP, and The Vancouver Board of Trade. Sabrina stays current of new business ideas and strategies by being an avid follower of iconic organizations and their business leaders.

A former national rowing champion, Sabrina displays passion and dedication in everything she does and continues to pursue a variety of athletic endeavours including marathons.

Nikolas Laufer-Edel
Nikolas Laufer-Edel started his first business in elementary school running birthday parties for neighbourhood children and has been brining ideas to life ever since. Fascinated by technology Nikolas launched his own consulting business after graduating from the Sauder School of Business where he acted as an intrepreneur for clients; ranging from developing a high-end ecommerce patform to designing an online banking system. Recently Nikolas has joined Matygo, a web startup that's building the future of online classes, where he leads product design and marketing.

As a student Nikolas co-founded the largest business case competition in Western Canada, JDC West. While auditing the Entrepreneurship program at the University of Victoria Nikolas wrote the winning business plan for the venture-backed sports team management company TeamPages.

Actively pursing an interest in communications has led Nikolas to working as the presentation specialist for TEDxVancouver, teaching presentations design workshops at UBC, and coaching students for case competitions.

Andy Nguyen
Andy Nguyen is a Sauder School of Business alumnus and is the co-founder of Corporate Champions Vancouver.Andy graduated with honours from UBC with a double major in Logistics and Marketing. In his spare time he loves to follow the tech industry, play soccer player and cycle. His five year plan includes completing an Olympic distance triathlon and spreading the Corporate Champions Vancouver concept across Canada.

Madeleine Shaw
Madeleine Shaw started her career as a social leader as a student at Queen’s University,where she received the institution’s highest non-academic distinction for her volunteer work as a feminist activist. She started her first business venture in 1993, and wrote the first business plan for Lunapads and Lunapanties in 1994. In addition to her work in product development,marketing and strategic planning at Lunapads, Madeleine is active as a volunteer mentor with the BC Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and the Women’s Enterprise Society of BC.

Suzanne Siemens
Suzanne Siemens is a professional Chartered Accountant with 20 years of experience in financial accounting, management and business strategy. Prior to joining forces with Madeleine in 2000, she held senior financial roles at a large publicly traded energy company and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In addition to her role as CFO at Lunapads, Suzanne has served for many years as Board Member and Treasurer with the Georgia Strait Alliance, a local marine conservation not-for-profit organization. In 2008 Suzanne received the Community Service Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC

Remy Morgan - Pepsico
Remy Morgan is a Bachelor of Business Administration graduate of Trinity Western University with specializations in Marketing and Human Resource Management. She was hired by Pepsi in February 2011 as a Campus Hire. Remy is currently a Retail Sales Representative selling Large Format Accounts and deals exclusively with Safeway and Save On Foods. Outside of work Remy enjoys exercise and fitness, skiing and spending time with friends and family.
