Last month, we had the lovely opportunity to learn table etiquette and manners from Elizabeth Burnett, Founder and President of Elizabeth Etiquette, at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport. Before relaxing and having high tea, Elizabeth shared with us tips, suggestions and rules to proper table etiquette. Not only did we learn which utensils to use and which side plates of food are served and taken away, the number one rule that we took away was to put away our cell phones. Giving your most undivided attention to the person you're having a meal with is most important!

If you forgot some tips or missed the social, make sure to check out Elizabeth's app on iTunes: Elizabeth Etiquette (Interactive Etiquette app. Quiz, Tutorials, Trivia , & Blog).

Have questions for Elizabeth? You can reach her at elizabethetiquette@shaw.ca or tweet @MyEtiquette. She is available for Speaking Engagements and Etiquette Training for all ages (Children–Adults). Private, individual, family, groups and organizations; in person, via Telephone & Skype.
