YWiB Toronto invites you to join us to an exciting and interactive 2-in-1 workshop this May 28th! In it, a KonMari Certified Consultant and a certified Change and Leadership Coach, will teach you proven self-management tools and strategies to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.


Have you ever lost momentum when working towards your goals? Have you armed yourself with vision boards, productivity planners, and to-do lists, and then somehow things fizzled? Do you want to bring back that joyful spring into your step, and learn how to maintain it - for good? If so, we invite you to learn and practice the proven tactics and strategies that make change stick.

Inspired by the KonMari Method and the science behind change management, our May workshop will teach you the proven skills, tools and strategies to find joy in planning, working towards, and achieving your goals. Whether your goals are professional or personal (or both), our expert facilitators will show you how to:

  • set clear goals;

  • identify what is holding you back and making you lose motivation;

  • work through, and with, your feelings and emotions when facing setbacks;

  • plan for short and long term success;

  • master the art of prioritization;

  • drive your own change with purpose and joy, to achieve the results YOU want!

MEET OUR FACILITATORS

Effy Nicopoulos

Effy is a Trained Professional Organizer, Certified KonMari Consultant trained by Marie Kondo and holds certificates from the Institute of Challenging Disorganization in Chronic Disorganization (ADHD, ADD, Hoarding Behaviour & Aging Issues). She has over 25 years of experience as a senior event and project manager in the television industry, is a former real estate salesperson and also has formal mediation training. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a proud Rotarian and loves to give back to her community.

Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta

Yvonne is a Change Management Strategist and Change Leadership Advocate with over 20 years of experience helping professionals and organizations to navigate and transition through change. She is genuinely passionate about change and has worked with a broad range of organizations globally to help lead and manage their Strategic, Technology and Regulatory Change Initiatives. Her experience in leading and managing with these organizations, coupled with her exposure to global and diverse business environments have equipped her to be proficient in thinking ‘outside the box’. She is the founder of The Change Leadership, a series of events and conferences focused on preparing leaders, change professionals and organisations to lead change in today's fast-paced and disruptive business environment. And in so doing, positively impact the welfare of their surrounding communities and the economy. She also mentors and coaches professionals looking to develop their change leadership and management expertise. She is a published author, an Inspirational speaker and change catalyst.

Dress for Success Toronto® is part of a global movement for change. A local affiliate of an international not-for-profit organization operating in over 154 cities in 30 countries. Since 2009, Dress for Success Toronto have helped over 10,000 women in the GTA transition from unemployment to economic independence.

Donation terms: Donated items that are workplace appropriate will be used in DFS boutique and provided to their clients. Please ensure that all items donated are clean and in good repair. Your fabulous items will be the confidence boost women in need require to return to the workplace, make a great first impression, and land a job that could change their lives! Items that are deemed unsuitable for the boutique may be sold at very low price points to help individuals in need access quality clothing while raising funds for our charitable initiatives. If unsold, they will be redistributed through other local community programs.
