Our team’s mission is to facilitate networking and help you make meaningful connections so you achieve your professional goals. We encourage everyone on-site to speak up about what their needs are. Networking events are indeed what you make them!
We also recognize that networking is a skill that takes practice and time, and will be mingling with attendees to help facilitate connections. However, don’t feel discouraged by factors that are simply out of your control; your goals may not align with the goals of others on this night. If that’s the case, we hope you gain new knowledge, because “what you know” is significant also!
Navigating careers is also a combination of “who you know” and “who knows you.” Make sure you’re thinking about others’ needs too. If you meet someone who will benefit from being connected with an acquaintance, please make that introduction. There is plenty of success to be shared by all of us, so let’s collaborate.
