November Networking Night: Making Connections that Last

DESCRIPTION

We warmly welcome you to our November networking event at The Citizen. Our networking night is for ambitious young women: whether you are an entrepreneur, employed, self-employed, or career searching.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

Facilitated Connections. We know that networking takes practice and time, so our team will facilitate meaningful connections to help you achieve your professional and business goals. We'll be mingling, and providing icebreakers to help ensure you feel as relaxed as possible to let your best self shine.

Matchmaking. Tell us what you're looking for when you register, and we'll match you with attendees we believe could help you. Come prepared with at least three business cards, and an open mind. Blank business cards will be provided for those without them.

Learning Time. Our expert keynote speaker will teach you how to Become aClient Magnet in 3 Easy Steps! Brief and insightful, her 15-minute talk will leave you energized and will fire up your networking muscles.

Open Stage Time. We will have a 30-second pitch session for you to introduce yourself or your business to the rest of the attendees. We encourage everyone on-site to speak up about what their needs are. Networking events are indeed what you make them!

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

Supportive Network. Navigating our professions is a combination of ‘who you know’ and ‘who knows you.’ Bringing your best, more relaxed self will allow you to take the opportunities that are right in front of you. So relax and enjoy the night because, remember, we’re all in this together!

Sense of Community. We all can help each other so make sure you’re thinking about others’ needs too. If you meet someone who will benefit from being connected with an acquaintance, please make that introduction! There is plenty of success to be shared by all of us, so let’s collaborate.

Knowledge. We realize that often there are other factors that are simply out of your control; your goals may not align with the goals of others on this night. Don’t worry though, you'll gain new knowledge through our keynote speaker’s lecture, because “what you know” is significant also!

Relaxed Environment. We're partnering with The Citizen - a 1930s-inspired stylish eatery in the King & Spadina area - to provide you with a relaxed and private space where you can mingle and network comfortably. Purchases of their home cooked Canadian classics, beverages, and craft cocktails are at your personal discretion. Check out their website at http://thecitizento.com for more details.

Goodies! Throughout the night we'll be holding raffles for exciting prizes.
