Our Story & Mission

Young Women in Business is a non-profit organization that creates communities across Canada in cities and universities for emerging female leaders and young professionals. There are 9 chapters, 1000+ members, 200+ mentors and over 70 events hosted annually.

The Young Women in Business BCIT chapter was established in 2016, with a goal to connect like-minded, motivated students from different programs. The BCIT chapter is a strong community of ambitious, self-directed female leaders that provides its members enrichment through networking, fundraising and self-development activities.

Our goal is for our members to gain supportive colleagues and professional connections through this community that will allow them to thrive in their post-graduation endeavors.
