Learn easy strategies and techniques to plan for the future: regardless of the size of your piggy bank!

About this Event

July 7: Young Women in Business Toronto (YiWB Toronto) warmly invites you to join us for an exciting and interactive 2-in-1 webinar! In it, two expert Wealth Management professionals will teach you easy strategies and techniques to plan for the future: regardless of the size of your piggy bank, or if you have taken many (or zero) steps in your wealth-building journey.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

  • Are you an ambitious young woman (or young at heart) who thinks investing is scary or complicated?

  • Do you think that you can only plan for the future once you have a big - or bigger - wallet to match your big dreams?

  • Have you tried to look after your finances before, but failed?

  • Do you wish you were ‘better prepared’ for eventualities, because let’s face it, they will happen?

Our two experts will have you covered with easy-to-understand presentations and practical follow-along exercises that will give you the confidence and knowledge to take charge of your financial future.

WHAT WILL BE COVERED?

  • These Financial professionals will help demystify some of the things we, as women, believe or internalize that stop us from taking control of our finances.

  • They will walk you through the basics, and show you how to make those small and large piggy banks work hard.

  • They will show you how, regardless of your current income, you can start to plan for your future today.

  • Finally, they will even share some take-home resources to guide you in smarter personal financial decisions moving forward.

Our aim is that you’ll leave this webinar better prepared for eventualities, more confident about your money, and above it all, better prepared to take charge of your wealth-building journey.

NERU PADMANABHAN

Owner of her own Financial Consulting business, Neru was a former community social services worker for 13 years, working in shelters, addictions facilities and with the battered women's programs out in British Columbia. She realized through her career that poverty and low-wage earnings were a symptom of the overall problems faced by her clients. The root cause was lack of financial preparedness and literacy. Through this experience, Neru switched gears and turned her attention towards the financial sector, becoming a licensed professional and merging her mental health experience with finances, and tackling the problem from a new lens. She is now on a mission to serve, educate, and help her clients secure a financial future, in particular, a focus on building generational wealth.
