VFS CONNECT is Vancouver Film School’s part-time, online learning platform and features short-track workshops, certificate courses, and seasonal programs in film, 3D & VFX, game design, writing, and more.

While our workshops are four days in length (two consecutive weekends) and introduce students to industry-standard software (Unity, Unreal, Maya, etc.), certificate courses are 7-8 weeks in length (one class per week) and give students a taste of VFS’s full-time programs. Finally, seasonal programs include Creative Break every March and Summer Intensives every July and feature multi-day workshops for high school students.

Who typically enrolls in VFS CONNECT courses & workshops?

CONNECT courses & workshops are intended for emerging and established creatives looking to top-up their skillsets, build a powerful career portfolio (the ultimate industry calling card!), and even professionals looking to pivot in their careers. Whether you’re a high school students or a working professional, CONNECT has something for you!
